Amy Winehouse's Grammy Appearance Still Questionable

Amy Winehouse fans should keep their fingers crossed about her appearing on the Grammy Awards telecast on Sunday evening.
The six-time nominee left the Capio Nightingale drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility and was accompanied by a nurse to the American embassy in London to try and get a visa that would allow her into the U.S. Winehouse was banned from the country in October after she was arrested and fined in Norway for pot possession.
The troubled singer finally went to rehab last month after a videotape of her allegedly smoking crack during a party at her house made it on to the internet. Police questioned Winehouse on Tuesday regarding drug possession allegations related to the tape. No charges have been laid, but an inquiry is continuing.
Winehouse's father told the British press that his daughter won't return to either of her London homes when she completes her rehab stint because it could tempt her back into her hard-partying lifestyle.
Grammy organizers have set aside Friday afternoon rehearsal time at Los Angeles' Staples Center for Winehouse and her backing band, The Dap-Kings, but whether she'll make it or not is still up in the air. She's apparently slated to perform "Rehab" and "You Know I'm No Good."
