HILOTRONS Get Happymatic With Kelp

In a move that makes all kinds of sense, one of Ottawa's most popular bands have signed with the city's best known record label.
Kelp Records will release Happymatic by HILOTRONS (who must use all capital letters in their name for legal reasons) on CD on April 1. It's no joke that Calgary-based Saved By Vinyl will put the 13-song, 36-minute record out on one of those 12-inch-circumferenced black platters that same day.
HILOTRONS have been kicking around since 2001. They released their self-titled debut in 2003 and Bella Simone two years ago. The new wave-influenced band are comprised of Paul Michael Hogan, Damian Sawka, Michael John Dubue, Philip Shaw Bova and Mike Schultz.
Happymatic track "Dominika" can be previewed on Kelp's website.
