Feist Nominated For Four Indie Awards

Feist has been nominated for as many Indie Awards as she has Grammys.
The Toronto-based singer/songwriter/musician, and Chart's artist of the year, leads the way with four nominations for the 2008 Indie Awards that will take place in the Canadian Room of Toronto's Fairmont Royal York Hotel on March 8. While she'll perform at the upcoming Grammy and Juno Awards presentations, the Indies aren't on her schedule. Several impressive nominees will take the stage, however, including The New Pornographers, Tokyo Police Club, The Besnard Lakes, Young Galaxy, Attack In Black, The Cliks and this year's Indies Hall Of Fame inductees, The Lowest Of The Low.
Nominees were chosen by music business representatives, while the winners will be chosen by a combination of industry and fan voting. Fans will be able to vote on the Canadian Music Week website beginning on March 5.
The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets will cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
