Barenaked Ladies Reach Out To Children With Snacktime

Barenaked Ladies

Hey kids! Do you want to listen to some Barenaked Ladies? The group's first children's album, Snacktime, will be served on May 6 by their own Desperation Records label.

The Toronto band are currently sailing in the Caribbean on their third annual "Ships And Dip" music cruise with guests Guster, Jason Collett and Great Big Sea. They'll begin to write their next grown-up album within the next few weeks, with a hope of releasing it in the summer.

Snacktime, devoted to all 11 children that the Barenaked Ladies have collectively spawned, was written from a children's perspective and includes 22 tracks.

BNL contributed to the For The Kids Three charity compilation alongside Of Montreal, Great Lake Swimmers, Moby and others last year.
