Tokyo Police Club Come Out Of Their Elephant Shell

Tokyo Police Club

If you search the ChartAttack archives, you'll find that we've mentioned Tokyo Police Club exactly 100 times in the past two years before this article, and they still haven't put out a full album yet. That will all change when Saddle Creek releases Elephant Shell in late April.

The Newmarket, Ont. band have released a number of EPs, contributed to compilations, won two Bucky Awards, toured extensively and even designed a T-shirt for Playboy while becoming one of the most hyped groups around, so it's about time that they finally finished their LP.

"It was a long process but we couldn’t be happier with the outcome," wrote manager Rich Cohen on the band's website on Wednesday. "We've just announced a bunch of tour dates where we’ll be road testing the new songs."
