Amy Winehouse Allegedly Caught Smoking Crack On Video

After spending the holiday season scuba diving with Bryan Adams in Mustique and changing her signature beehive hairdo to a much shorter, bleached blonde style, it appeared that Amy Winehouse was starting 2008 fresh and putting her unhealthy lifestyle behind her.

But after a video surfaced of the British singer appearing to inhale from a crack pipe and talking about taking six valium tablets to help her come down from earlier drugging during a party at her London home, it's pretty apparent that Winehouse is still trying to out-do her pal Pete Doherty in the debauchery department.

The Sun newspaper showed footage of Winehouse allegedly partaking on its website, and it describes other details of the recent night's adventures before she had an early morning appointment to support her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil during a court appearance.

The Sun says Winehouse also snorted powdered ecstasy and "highly-concentrated" cocaine as part of her binge, during which she was "surrounded by junkies and parasitic hangers-on."

An unnamed "friend" of the 24-year-old star told The Sun: "Amy is locked in a nosedive towards oblivion — she is killing herself. The video shows a woman completely out of control."

Winehouse was quoted in the Jamaica Gleaner saying that she plans to go to Jamaica to work with Damian Marley, the son of reggae great Bob Marley (who Winehouse is apparently a major fan of) on the follow-up to her Back To Black smash.

Jamaica? Well at least there the drug of choice doesn't seem as harmful as what Winehouse has been hoovering at home.
