ChartAttack Readers Think Silverstein Have A Great Album And A Sexy Singer

The Silverstein army has arrived, and it's reflected in their punk heroes taking a commanding lead in the race for favourite Canadian album in the ChartAttack readers' poll.
The Burlington, Ont. band's Arrivals And Departures has captured 26.8 per cent of the votes, while Sum 41's Underclass Hero is far behind in second place with 11.9 per cent. Tegan And Sara's The Con, which had a good lead a week ago, now has a 9.0-per cent share of the votes.
The race is much closer for top international album, where Linkin Park's Minutes To Midnight has forged ahead with 774 votes, 29 more than Fall Out Boy's Infinity On High.
Readers saw that Alexisonfire's "Rough Hands" was the first title listed alphabetically in the poll for best song, and they've kept it there with 1,064 votes, 317 more than Simple Plan's "When I'm Gone" and 461 more than Feist's "1234."
The Silversteiners showing their solidarity again when it comes to deciding Canada's sexiest male artist, as singer Shane Told has 22.5 per cent of the votes. Simple Plan frontman Pierre Bouvier has captured the hearts of 8.4 per cent of you to put him in second place. Dave Azzolini of The Golden Dogs is in last place, but he can console himself by being married to bandmate Jessica Gracia.
Avril Lavigne has a lead of more than 1,200 votes over Tegan And Sara in the sexiest woman field, with Nelly Furtado posing comfortably in third place.
Tegan And Sara retain their lead in the best haircut race, while Lavigne has overtaken Lukas Rossi for second place. Massari has the fewest votes, perhaps because he's bald.
Croc shoes remain the stupidest trend of the year with 1,115 votes, far outdistancing MTV's The Hills show with 523.
The Reason's "We're So Beyond This" is still leading the race for favourite music video, but The Used's "The Bird And The Worm" has climbed into second. Sum 41's "Walking Disaster" isn't far behind in third place.
Canadian rock remains the sweetest thing to happen in music in 2007, but it only has a 21-vote lead over Guitar Hero. Now we know what a lot of you are hoping to see under the Christmas tree on Dec. 25.
Britney Spears hasn't gained any popularity in the last week, as her return is still considered the stinkiest thing in music this year. Being emo is 504 votes behind. Independent record stores are the least foul thing, which ChartAttack endorses.
The poll closes on Jan. 4, so vote now and vote often — unless you're a Silverstein fan. We've already had enough from you.
