Daniel Lanois Ushers In New Era Of Digital Music With Here Is What Is

Acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer Daniel Lanois will release his sixth solo album, Here Is What Is, as the first digital release available in the high-resolution, CD-quality WAV format on Dec. 15 exclusively through redfloorrecords.com.

It also features conversations with Lanois mentor Brian Eno taken from the film version of Here Is What Is, which follows Lanois during the making of the album. It premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie — directed by Lanois, Adam Samuels and Adam Vollick — will be available on DVD March 18. A CD version of the album will also be released that day by MapleMusic Recordings.
