Scott Weiland Busted For DUI Again

Velvet Revolver and former Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland may have another chapter to add to his upcoming book.
Weiland was involved in a non-injury collision on a Los Angeles highway on Nov. 21. According to the police report, he showed signs of impairment at the accident scene.
"The investigation officer administered a series of field sobriety tests to the driver, which he was unable to satisfactorily perform," it said.
The 40-year-old rocker was taken to the Los Angeles Police Department jail in Van Nuys after being arrested for driving under the influence of a drug. After refusing to take a blood or urine test, he was released on $40,000 U.S. bail. The steep amount was probably influenced by Weiland's history or prior arrests.
The singer's management company claims he's innocent and released this statement on Monday: "Scott Weiland was recently involved in a minor accident in Los Angeles and denies he was driving under the influence. He voluntarily took a Breathalyzer test, which the defense believes registers well within the legal limit. He is anxious to get to court on Dec. 13 and clear this matter up."
Velvet Revolver have a show scheduled for the Gibson Amphitheatre in the Los Angeles suburb of Universal City on Dec. 12, so Weiland won't have far to travel for his court appearance the next day.
Weiland is no stranger to arrests. He's endured a number of drug busts, spent time in prison and was charged with DUI and hit-and-run on his birthday four years ago.
