Crystal Castles Are Finally Ready For An Album

 Crystal Castles

Toronto electronic duo Crystal Castles will release their self-titled full-length debut on Feb. 19 through their hometown Last Gang label.

Alice Glass and Ethan Fawn formed the group four years ago. They've released two seven-inch singles, with a third for "Air War" set to follow on Dec. 17. The new 16-track effort includes a collaboration with Los Angeles' Health on "Crimewave," which was released as a single in August.

Crystal Castles have also built a reputation as rermixers, after adding their own touch to songs by Sohodolls, GoodBooks, The Little Ones, Klaxons, Uffie, Comic Book Fever, Liars and Bloc Party.

The group have played major European music festivals and toured North America with Last Gang labelmates Metric as well as The Presets. They have shows scheduled for the U.K., Spain, Japan and Australia before they return to Canada to play a New Year's Eve show at a still unannounced venue in Montreal.
