Billy Talent And Friends Band Together For F.U.M.S. Fundraiser

An impressive cast of Canadian music talent will gather to swear at a disease at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre on Dec. 28.
Billy Talent, City And Colour and The Saint Alvia Cartel will perform at a benefit show dubbed "Fuck You Multiple Sclerosis," or "F.U.M.S." for those of you who don't approve of cussing. K-OS, DJ Jazz and Broken Social Scene's Justin Peroff will spin during DJ sets in between bands.
The inaugural F.U.M.S. concert last year featured Billy Talent, Alexisonfire and Moneen at Toronto's Opera House. It sold out in eight minutes.
All proceeds from this year's show will go to the MS Society Of Canada Scholarship Fund, which assists teenagers and young adults who have MS or who have a parent with the disease.
Billy Talent drummer Aaron Solowoniuk suffers from MS, and their song "This Is How It Goes" was written about his battle with the illness that affects the central nervous system.
