Following closely on the heels of their With/Avec EP, Montreal's eclectic Plants And Animals will release their full-length debut on Feb. 26 through hometown label Secret City Records.

The 11-song Parc Avenue was recorded by Warren C. Spicer, Matthew Woodley and Nicolas Basque at the Treatment Room and Studio Carillon Tropical (also known as Spicer's apartment) on analogue tape. The instrumentation includes piano, guitar, pedal steel, bass, drums, percussion and autoharp, while Arcade Fire violinist Sarah Neufeld, singer Katie Moore, Ideal Lovers, a cheerleading squad, a horn section and a family choir also lent a hand.

Plants And Animals have a number of live dates this month and plan more Canadian and U.S. shows in February and March, including an appearance at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Here's where you can see the pop/rock group:
