Sleeping With Spiral Beach Will Get You Pancakes In The Morning

Toronto's Spiral Beach are known for their upbeat and energetic performances, and their youthful enthusiasm has spilled over into their plans for their next hometown gig.
Daniel and Airick Woodhead, Maddy Wilde and Dorian Thornton will hold an all-night sleepover party and pancake breakfast to celebrate the recent release of their Sparks Music debut album, Ball, at Toronto's Centre Of Gravity Theatre on Dec. 1. They'll take the stage at midnight following performances by Sister Suvi at 8 p.m., Friendly Rich & The Lollipop People at 9 p.m., Donlands & Mortimer at 10 p.m. and Run With The Kittens at 11 p.m.
Here's what Spiral Beach promises:
"A massive all night party at the Centre of Gravity Theatre featuring the finest musical acts from Toronto and abroad, as well as a full-on extravaganza of video projections, gravity-defying circus acts and glow-in-the-dark visuals. This event will not officially end and people are encouraged to bring tents, sleeping bags and pillows and camp out on the floor with the bands. A pancake breakfast will be served in the morning."
Advance tickets are eight dollars at Rotate This and Soundscapes and will be available at the door for two bucks more.
Spiral Beach released their self-produced, self-titled first album in 2005 and recorded Ball early this year with Mark Olsen (Hidden Cameras, Arcade Fire) and Scotty Hard (Medeski, Martin & Wood, Wu-Tang Clan).
