New Axl Rose Music Coming Via Sebastian Bach

Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach will return on Nov. 27 with his first solo album in eight years, Angel Down.
Bach has spent much of the last year touring with his friends Guns N' Roses, whose frontman Axl Rose is featured on three of Angel Down's tracks: first single "(Love Is) A Bitch Slap," "Stuck Inside" and an update of the Aerosmith tune, "Back In The Saddle."
"I really liked the energy of the tracks and I'm more than grateful for the opportunity," Rose said of working on the album. "I hope the fans get a kick out of it as well."
Nine of Angel Down's 14 tracks were co-written by Bach, who recorded the album with longtime members of his touring band this past summer with producer Roy Z (Rob Halford, Judas Priest) at Sound City Studios in Hollywood. The record will be released as a joint venture between Merovingian Music and Bach's Get Off My Bach Productions.
The album's cover art was taken from an original painting by Bach's father, Canadian artist David Bierk. The choice of the 1990 painting, titled David's Watching, was an emotional one for Bach since his dad passed away in 2002. Bierk also provided the cover art for the 1991 Skid Row album, Slave To The Grind, which was voted one of the top five covers of that year by Rolling Stone. Skid Row sold more than 20 million albums during their hair-metal heyday.
In addition to touring with Guns N' Roses, Bach has also been busy with a burgeoning television career. He has appeared on the Canadian mockumentary hit Trailer Park Boys, had a recurring role as metal guitarist Gil on Gilmore Girls, been featured on the VH1 reality series' I Married... Sebastian Bach, Forever Wild, 40 Greatest Metal Songs and SuperGroup (with Ted Nugent, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian and Evan Seinfeld), and was a contestant on the recent MTV series, Celebrity Rap Superstar.
The 39-year-old Canadian rocker has appeared on Broadway as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show and in the title role of Jekyll & Hyde. He's also starred in a touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Bach's real name is Sebastian Philip Bierk. His brother Zac Bierk had a brief NHL career and played 47 games in goal with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes.
