Rapper T.I. posted a video today on his social networking site streetcred.com addressing his fans personally from his Atlanta home, where the rapper is currently under house arrest awaiting trial on gun charges.

"It's a very trying time right now, but I want to let everybody know that I plead not guilty, and I gotta stress my innocence to everyone out there who's listening," T.I. says in the video. "I look forward to being exonerated on all charges. And I say that with the utmost sincerity. I can't stress that enough to you, ya dig."

T.I. goes on to thank his fans for their support and his judge for the "privilege" of being on house arrest. He also warns his fans to not believe everything that they hear or read about the case.

The rapper was originally arrested in October after being accused of trying to illegally purchase machine guns and silencers. T.I. was accused of having his bodyguard purchase the guns illegally on his behalf since, as a convicted felon, he is prohibited from purchasing or owning firearms.

The rapper emphasizes that he is using his time to work on a new album, titled Paper Trail, and is following all the conditions of his confinement. Under house arrest the rapper is prohibited from consuming alcohol, must submit to 24-hour monitoring and can only have three visitors at once, all of whom must undergo background checks.

T.I. recently petitioned the judge to overrule the three visitors at once stipulation in order to host Thanksgiving dinner for his family at his house, but withdrew the request when he was accused by the prosecution of looking for "special treatment."

The rapper promised more videos to come, signing off with the message, "I'm getting a lot of work done man, a lot of music being recorded. But my main message is it's not over... and the King ain't dead!"
