Three Days Grace Announce Canadian Tour Dates

Three Days Grace

Hard rockers Three Days Grace are getting ready to pack the bus up and head across Canada with Seether in a tour that will take them from Ontario through to British Columbia. From the where have they been files, Econoline Crush will also be on the bill for the shows outside of Ontario.

Before hitting the road on this side of the border the band are playing a series of shows through the United States with Breaking Benjamin as they continue to tour heavily.

Being on the road makes for a grueling schedule but bassist Brad Walst said in a blog post on the band's MySpace page that it's almost as though it's the only life they know, feeling after time off that, "In some ways it seems like we never left the bus. It's like waking up from a weird dream that I was at home. No complaints though, this is the best job in the world."

Three Days Grace spent the summer touring North America with stops in Hawaii and shows in Japan causing drummer Neil Sanderson to remark, "We're a bunch of lucky mo-fo's to be able to see the world like this."

Three Days Grace are touring in support of their sophomore album, 2006's One-X, which chronicles frontman Adam Gonthier's struggle with an OxyContin addiction and subsequent recovery. Since the album's release the band have played a number of acoustic shows in centres for addiction, mental health centres and group homes, including a show last November at Toronto's Centre For Addiction where Gonthier himself went for help.
