New Releases: Buck 65 Has A Situation For You

Whilst Buck 65 spends his days in Colorado working a day job, it's kind of funny that few of the people around him know that he's a Canadian national treasure. That reputation will only be furthered by his most comprehensive record to date, Situation, which is out this week. In addition to liquid quick rhymes and stellar beats, look for a guest appearance by Cadence Weapon and the wholesale use of a track by The Incredible Bongo Band. Don't pretend you're not intrigued.
I can't say I'm intrigued in the least by the return of Britney Spears. Regardless of the fact that Blackout, out Tuesday, is probably as "strong" as her past output, I think it's pretty much impossible to forget that she's become a cartoon. Nevertheless, it'll probably shoot straight to the top of the sales chart, ensuring that the eventual E! True Hollywood: Britney, The Later Years shows a glimmer of hope for a minute before screeching to a halt moments later.
Lastly, I have very little to say about Hedley's Famous Last Words, since: a) it implies Hedley are famous; and b) the band seem more famous for the regular appearance of singer Jacob Hoggard's butt-crack than for any of their music.
Now, please stay tuned for November and December's endless cavalcade of hits collections and live albums.
