If you have unpaid fines, failed to appear in court as scheduled or haven't paid child support, and you find yourself invited to meet your favourite rock stars before their concert, be careful.
About 40 such delinquents were invited to a pre-show party before a recent Ozzy Osbourne/Rob Zombie performance in Fargo, North Dakota and were promptly arrested once they arrived.
The invitations were sent out by PDL Productions, an acronym which surreptitiously stood for Paul. D. Laney, the name of a local county sheriff. Deputies, probation officers and drug enforcement agents — decked out in PDL T-shirts to look like road crew members — pounced on their guests, some of whom were led away in handcuffs.
