George Stroumboulopoulos Returns To Radio With The Strombo Show

Canada's most rockin' television host, George Stroumboulopoulos, is returning to his roots with a radio show that launches on Corus Radio stations across the country on Nov. 4.
The Strombo Show will mix conversation, celebrity interviews, music and audience interaction in a live, open-line, three-hour weekly show.
"I'm excited to be back on the radio," says the ChartAttack Hack hockey team winger. "My formative years in the business were in radio, and I will always be a radio guy. I'm looking forward to getting on the air, taking phone calls and playing awesome music."
Since hosting Punkorama and Live In Toronto on 102.1 The Edge in the late '90s, Stroumboulopoulos has interviewed a wide range of newsmakers as a MuchMusic VJ and, currently, as host of CBC's The Hour. Stroumboulopoulos has won the last two Gemini Awards for best host or interviewer for his work on The Hour, and he'll host the televised Gemini presentations this Sunday on CBC.
The Strombo Show will be heard every Sunday on: 99.3 The Fox (Vancouver) from 2 to 5 p.m. PT; Power 97 (Winnipeg) from 4 to 7 p.m. CT; and 102.1 The Edge (Toronto), FM96 (London) and Y108 (Hamilton) from 5 to 8 p.m. ET.
