Hip-hop star T.I. will spend at least another week in jail after being denied bail for a second time after being arrested on Oct. 13 for allegedly possessing unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as being a convicted felon in possession of firearms.

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris Jr.) appeared in court on Friday, where prosecutors also revealed that police also found a half-pound of marijuana in his car when he was arrested.

Judge Alan Baverman ruled that the rapper should remain behind bars until at least next Friday. T.I.'s lawyer, Ed Garland, is attempting to have his client freed on a $2.2 million U.S. bond, which includes a cash deposit of $500,000. T.I.'s label, Atlantic Records, has put up a signed $1 million bond, while Warner Music Group executives issued five $100,000 signature bonds. T.I. has provided two $100,000 signature bonds from a bonding company and put up properties that he owns valued at $1.5 million.

Garland has proposed that T.I. be put in custody at home, where he'd have a monitor 24 hours a day. Only pre-approved visitors would be allowed to enter his home, and the 27 year old would submit to random home searches and drug tests.

T.I. faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count if found guilty.
