Amy Winehouse And Husband Busted For Pot Possession In Norway

Amy Winehouse has recently spent time collaborating musically with Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty. But, as he seems to be getting himself clean from a serious drug problem, she continues to make news for the wrong reasons.
Winehouse, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and an unnamed third person were arrested for marijuana possession shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday in a Bergen, Norway hotel after police received a tip. According to a report in the U.K.'s Times Online, the pot was found in the hotel room and not on the 24-year-old British singer or Fielder-Civil. They were held in custody overnight and released around 7 a.m. on Friday morning after paying approximately $715 in fines.
"They were found with seven grams of marijuana," prosecutor Lars Morten Lothe said in an Associated Press article. "She's paid the fine, so this thing is over for us now."
Winehouse cancelled her North American appearances in August after suffering a drug overdose and briefly checking into a rehabilitation facility (despite singing that she wouldn't in "Rehab," the biggest hit from her award-winning Back To Black album). She's just starting a European tour and this latest setback won't cause her to miss her next date on Saturday in Oslo.
