Plug Into AC/DC DVD Boxed Set

One of rock's greatest bands, AC/DC, will release five hours of rare video footage on Oct. 16 via Columbia.
Plug Me In is a four-decade, career-spanning DVD collection that will come as a two-disc set as well as a collector's edition with a third DVD.
Disc one is dedicated to the band's early years, 1975 to 1979, which is also known as the Bon Scott era in tribute to the band's original lead singer, who died in 1980. There are more than 20 performances, including black and white footage from a high school concert, the band's first U.K. television appearance in 1976, and the first public performance of "Highway To Hell" from a Dutch TV show in 1979. Bonus material on the disc includes rare band interviews, a one-on-one with Scott, and four songs recorded at one of Scott's final concerts.
Disc two is all about the Brian Johnson era that began with 1980's Back In Black. The DVD spans from then through to today and includes more than 20 rare performances, including three songs recorded in Toronto in 2003. The disc's bonus material includes a 1984 interview on the British TV show Old Grey Whistle Test and a 2003 performance of "Rock Me Baby" with The Rolling Stones.
The deluxe collector's edition includes a third DVD with 21 additional performances featuring both Scott and Johnson. It runs for two hours and includes reproductions of original AC/DC memorabilia.
AC/DC were formed in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young and have gone on to sell more than 70 million records in the U.S. alone. They were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2003.
