Broken Social Scene Members To Become Authors Next Year

Broken Social Scene may or may not have a new album out next year, but they'll have a book.
This Book Is Broken will feature contributions from Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Jason Collett and other band members, assisted by Toronto's Eye Weekly senior editor, Stuart Berman. They'll tell the story of the Toronto group, beginning in the early days with Drew and Canning recording 2001's Feel Good Lost debut through their growth and emergence as a revolving-door collective who've helped spawn a number of other musical success stories as well as three more BSS albums.
Broken Social Scene member Justin Peroff will assemble photos, concert posters, flyers and other graphic material for the book, which will be published by Toronto's House Of Anansi Press next fall.
