Montreal's DJ Champion has forged a musical deal with Ubisoft, the creator of the Nintendo DS game, Jam Sessions.
Champion created a new song exclusively with the game, which lets players use the stylus as a guitar pick on the Nintendo DS' tactile screen. A video for the track, produced by Two Hobose is in the works and should be available online at the end of Champion's tour with his band.
"Everyone who comes to see a show on our Canadian tour will get to dance to this new and exclusive sound," says Champion. "We were totally enthralled by the game.
"Its ease of use and the quality of its options surprised us, but, more than anything, we had a really great time playing this new guitar. Audiences will get to see something truly special and different."
