Shad's Old Prince Will Take The Stage

London, Ont. hip-hop artist Shad will hit the road in support of The Old Prince, which arrives in stores on Oct. 16 via Black Box Recordings.

The Kenyan-born rapper and guitarist (real name Shadrach Kabango) recorded the follow-up to the independently released When This Is Over in his adopted hometown this summer. "Get Up," "Out Of Love Pt. 2" and "Compromise" can be previewed on his MySpace page.

Shad previously shared the stage with the likes of Common and Lupe Fiasco, and his tour will include a live backing band and DJ TLO, who took the DMC Battle For Canadian Supremacy Champion title at Montreal's Saints Showbar on Sept. 7.
