Akron/Family And Megafaun Vans Robbed In Toronto

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based freak-folk band Akron/Family and tourmates Megafaun and Greg Davis returned to their vans after a show at Toronto's Lee's Palace on Sunday to find that they'd been robbed.
Among the missing items were several valuable pieces of equipment, including: a Deering Siera banjo with a hard case and a pick-up; an olive green, semi-hollow Reverend six-string in a TKL case; a sunburst Fender Jaguar baritone six-string; and a MiniDisc recorder in a grey bag.
The vans were parked close to the Spadina roundabout near College Street when the items were taken. Anyone with information can call (715) 864-1972 or email the bands at akronfamilyvalues@gmail.com or megafaun@gmail.com. The tour is continuing as planned.
Here are Akron/Family's remaining Canadian tour dates:
Sept. 25 Guelph, ON @ Vinyl w/Megafaun and Greg Davis
Sept. 26 Ottawa, ON @ Barrymore's Music Hall w/Megafaun and Greg Davis
Oct. 18 Vancouver, BC @ Richard's On Richards w/The Dodos
