Tokyo Police Club Release EP And Play Western Canada Shows

Tokyo Police Club have become an international buzz band since last year's release of their A Lesson In Crime EP, and they'll somewhat satiate demand for new material with Paper Bag's Oct. 23 release of Smith.
The new EP features four songs and three videos. "Box" and "Cut Cut Paste" will be available on CD for the first time, "A Lesson In Crime" was only previously released as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the debut EP, and there's a RAC remix of "Be Good."
The Sean Wainsteim-directed video for "Cheer It On," which won a MuchMusic Video Award in June, will be included along with clips for "Nature Of The Experiment" (directed by George Vale) and "Citizens Of Tomorrow" (Kyle Davison).
Singer/bassist Dave Monks, guitarist/percussionist Josh Hook, keyboardist/vocalist Graham Wright and drummer/percussionist Greg Alsop will play these Canadian shows:
Oct. 11 Winnipeg, MB @ Pyramid Cabaret
Oct. 12 Saskatoon, SK @ Louis' Pub
Oct. 13 Edmonton, AB @ Starlite Room
Oct. 14 Calgary, AB @ The Warehouse
Oct. 16 Victoria, BC @ Sugar
Oct. 17 Vancouver, BC @ The Plaza
