Cannibal Corpse To Invade West Edmonton Mall

Cannibal Corpse — the fine fellows who brought you such albums as Butchered At Birth, Hammer Smashed Face and Gallery Of Suicide —will help mark their Metal Blade label's 25th anniversary with a rare autograph signing session in Edmonton.

Sadly, it won't be held in a butcher shop or a mortuary, but at the HMV in the West Edmonton Mall. It will be Cannibal Corpse's first signing in a retail store in more than four years. After the group and labelmates The Black Dahlia Murder and The Red Chord put down their Sharpies, fans should try to entice them on to the giant mall's skating rink or one of its water slides. But the odds are that they'll feel more comfortable firing off guns at the Wild West Shooting Centre.

All three bands will play these Canadian dates:

The Black Dahlia Murder's Nocturnal will be released on Sept. 18. It's the first disc by the Waterford, Michigan band to feature new bassist Bart Williams (who replaced Dave Lock) and drummer Shannon Lucas (who replaced Pierre Langois). Here's the track list:
