A show encompassing all eras of Bob Mould's illustrious music career recorded at Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club on Oct. 7, 2005 will be released on DVD on Oct. 9 by MVD Visual.
Circle Of Friends features Mould backed by Fugazi's Brendan Canty, Morel's Richard Morel and Rockets Over Sweden's Jason Narducy playing songs from Husker Du, Sugar and Mould's solo catalogue.
"That was show 21 out of the 25 shows, so we were on fire at that point," Mould told Billboard.com of the gig in his adopted hometown. "That was about as tight as we were going to get without going through the motions. It was easily the best show of the tour."
The 111-minute DVD also includes pre-show interviews with all four band members.
Mould will embark on a unique U.S. tour next month where his shows will include a 30-minute acoustic set, a 30-minute interview or Q&A session, a screening of Circle Of Friends and a signing of the DVD.
Mould will release the follow-up to 2005's solo studio effort, Body Of Song, through Anti- in January.
