Gerard Way Apparently Ties The Knot With MSI Bassist

Backstage weddings are in this year, at least if your last name is Way and you're a member of My Chemical Romance.

After Mikey Way married fiancee Alicia Simmons backstage at a Las Vegas concert in May before taking a leave of absence from the band, MCR singer Gerard Way reportedly married his longtime girlfriend and Mindless Self Indulgence bassist Lyn-Z on Monday following their respective performances at the Coors Amphitheatre in Denver on the last stop of the Projekt Revolution tour.

The ceremony was said to have been low-key, informal and presided over by a member of the crew from tour promoter Live Nation who was an ordained minister.

Neither Way nor Lyn-Z have commented on the reports, but the news has probably caused a lot of guyliner to be smeared from teary-eyed fan boys who thought that they might have had a shot at either one of them.

My Chemical Romance have begun work on the follow-up to last year's album, The Black Parade.
