The Tragically Hip, Finger Eleven, Matthew Good, Tokyo Police Club, Attack In Black, The Operation M.D. and Young Galaxy have been nominated for two CASBY (Canadian Artists Selected By You) Music Awards each.
The prizes will be given out on Oct. 24 at Toronto's Kool Haus, where Good, Finger Eleven, The Operation M.D., Attack In Black, Sum 41 and IIIScarlett will perform.
The CASBYs are presented by Toronto radio station 102.1 The Edge, and the winners are solely determined by fans voting online. Categories include favourite new artist, single, album and indie release. Voting has begun on the station's website and will continue until midnight on Sept. 30.
The only way to attend the show is by winning tickets from The Edge, but those who don't see it in the flesh can listen to the performances live on the station.
The CASBYs were originally called the U-Knows when they were created as an alternative to the Juno Awards in 1981.
