Flaming Lips And David Bowie Fuel Heartbreak In New Film

The soundtrack for The Heartbreak Kid — the forthcoming film from the Farrelly brothers team responsible for There's Something About Mary, Dumb & Dumber and other lowbrow comedies — features a pair of Flaming Lips and David Bowie songs.
The movie, starring Ben Stiller as a man who meets the woman of his dreams while on his honeymoon, opens on Oct. 5. The soundtrack will arrive three days earlier.
