Gob To Spit Up Album In October

It's been four years since we heard new music from Vancouver punk-pop band Gob, but the wait will finally be over soon.
Muertos Vivos, the follow-up to 2003's Foot In Mouth Disease, will be released by Aquarius on Oct. 16. It was produced by founding members Theo Goutsinakis (guitar, vocals) and Tom Thacker (guitar, vocals), while Gabe Mantle (drums) and Tyson Maiko (bass) now round out the band.
"We're All Dying" is the first single, while album track "Prescription" can be heard on the group's MySpace page.
Gob self-released an eponymous record in 1994 and had their most success with 2000's World According To Gob, which was certified gold for selling 50,000 copies in Canada and spawned the hit "I Hear You Calling."
While Gob plan to tour heavily in support of the new album, their only scheduled show at the moment takes place at The Industry in Chilliwack, B.C. on Thursday.
Here are the songs on Muertos Vivos:
"We're All Dying"
"War Is A Cemetery"
"Banshee Song"
"Dead End Love"
"Underground"
"Still Feel Nothing"
"About My Summer"
"Face The Ashes"
"Prescription"
"8"
"Wake Up"
"Open Wounds"
