Of Montreal And 19 Other Acts Do It For The Kids On New Compilation

The third installment in Nettwerk's For The Kids series of children's songs, performed by top artists familiar to adult music fans, will arrive on Oct. 2.

A portion of sales proceeds will go to Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach, an Arts Umbrella project that provides music instruction and a support network to children and youth in Vancouver's inner city.

More than half the songs on For The Kids Three! were recorded specifically for the compilation, which features Canadian bands Great Lake Swimmers, Barenaked Ladies and P:ano among its 20 contributors.
