Sum 41 And Finger Eleven Ensure That There's Strength In Numbers

Two of Canada's top rock acts, Sum 41 and Finger Eleven, are teaming up for a fall tour dubbed "Strength In Numbers."

Sum 41's fourth album, Underclass Hero, debuted at #1 on SoundScan's Canadian sales chart in the week following its July 24 release. The LP also topped the chart in Japan and entered the top 10 in the U.S. The group are touring south of the border until Oct. 7, with their only Canadian performance scheduled during that time taking place at La Festival Envol Et Macadam in Quebec City on Sept. 7.

Finger Eleven's fourth Wind-up Records LP, Them Vs. You Vs. Me, was released in March and has sold more than 100,000 copies in Canada, largely on the strength of the single/video "Paralyzer." They're also touring the U.S., both on their own and with Nickelback, and will continue to do so until Sept. 30.
