Great Lake Swimmers Want Your Travel Video

The Great Lake Swimmers are looking to make a video for "Passenger Song," and they're reaching out to fans and well-wishers to send them 30-second clips of their "favourite/significant travel footage."
The travel footage they're looking for apparently isn't of the spring break variety. That's a bummer considering certain Chart staffers are sitting on some choice footage of a former bouncer-sized roommate clomping through a Daytona hotel lobby with an empty case of Busch over his head, screaming out that he was "Powdered Busssccchhh Mannn!" in a tribute to Ren And Stimpy's Powdered Toast Man.
The word from GLS' label, Weewerk, is that they're looking for people to "share your secret spot, beautiful scenery or interesting experiences with us." On the technicality front, the Weewerk folks have declared the following:
"Your submission needs to be on common digital video file formats (i.e. AVI, MOV, MP4) and NTSC encoded. Each submission should include your full contact information, mailing address, phone number and email address. By submitting video content, you the copyright holder agrees to permit footage, in whole or part, to be used with discretion by Weewerk in producing this video. Submissions should be emailed to info@weewerk.com. Deadline for submissions is Aug. 31, 2007.
