Elvis Costello's Aim Is True, And Bigger, 30 Years Later

The first Elvis Costello reissue in Hip-O/Universal's previously announced rollout of his catalogue will be a 30th anniversary deluxe edition of his My Aim Is True debut.

The new version, due on Sept. 11, features 48 tracks on two discs. Twenty-nine of the songs have either never been released or never made it on to CD.

The first disc features the original 13-track album, outtakes of "No Action," "Living In Paradise," "Radio Sweetheart" and "Stranger In The House," and eight demos recorded at London, England's Pathway Studios. The second CD features an entire Aug. 7, 1977 performance at London's Nashville Rooms and sound-check versions of "Pay It Back," "Radio Sweetheart," "Sneaky Feelings," "Crawling To The USA" and "Alison" recorded earlier in the day.

Costello is currently playing shows in Europe and has some American dates lined up for September, but no Canadian concerts have been announced.
