The Mohawk Lodge Ignite Wildfires

The Mohawk Lodge

Vancouver's The Mohawk Lodge have expanded the dirty folk sound of their Rare Birds debut with their new, guest-filled album, Wildfires.

The White Whale Records release will arrive in stores on July 31. It was produced by Darryl Neudorf (The New Pornographers, Neko Case) and The Mohawk Lodge singer, songwriter, guitarist Ryder Havdale and bassist Samir Mallal. Along with the remaining band members — drummer Rob Josephson and guitarists Arch and Cory Price — they were joined on the album by Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs), Jesse Gander (Ghost House), J.P. Carter (Great Aunt Ida), Marc Morrissette (Octoberman), Jason Starnes (Bells Clanging) and Tiffani Mohammed.
