Ja Rule, Lil Wayne And Lil' Flip Arrested On Weekend

Three rappers — Ja Rule, Lil' Wayne and Lil' Flip — were arrested in non-related incidents over the weekend.
New York City police stopped a luxury sedan for allegedly going too fast and arrested the occupants — Ja Rule (real name Jeff Atkins), the driver and another man — after they said they found an illegal .40-calibre gun in the car on Sunday night.
Lil' Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter) was arrested about an hour later after his performance at Manhattan's Beacon Theatre. Police said they spotted the hip-hop artist and another man smoking marijuana by a tour bus and discovered a .40-calibre gun when they confronted them. They were taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana.
A day earlier, in Houston, Lil' Flip (real name Wesley Weston) turned himself into authorities after being arrested on suspicion of credit card abuse. He was released on $2,000 U.S. bond and was due to appear in court on Monday.
