Oakley Hall Keep Up Hectic Pace With Follow You

Oakley Hall

Brooklyn, New York band Oakley Hall will make their Merge debut with their fourth full-length, I'll Follow You, on Sept. 11.

After releasing both Second Guessing and Gypsum Strings last year, and keeping a busy tour schedule, the group wasted no time in cranking out another record. Band founder and former Oneida member Pat Sullivan (vocals, guitars, organ, harpsichord), Rachel Cox (vocals, guitars), Fred Wallace (guitars, banjo), Jesse Barnes (bass, vocals), Claudia Mogel (violin, vocals) and Greg Anderson (drums) recorded the 12-song album with producer Nicolas Vernhes (Silver Jews, Fiery Furnaces) in his The Rare Book Room studio/living space in Brooklyn.

In keeping with past releases, I'll Follow You combines indie pop and rock with roots and country elements and stirring harmonies to create a sound that's earned critical praise and proclamations that Oakley Hall are one of their hometown's best live bands.

Here are the songs on I'll Follow You:

"Marine Life"
"No Dreams"
"Rue The Blues"
"Angela"
"Free Radicals Lament"
"All The Way Down"
"I'll Follow You"
"Best Of Luck"
"First Frost"
"Alive Among Thieves"
"Rogue Revelator"
"Take My Hands, We're Free"
