Airbourne Are Runnin' Wild With Roadrunner

Airbourne don't want you to forget the '80s, and Roadrunner is on the same page after signing the Australian hard rock band.
Brothers Joel O'Keeffe (vocals, lead guitar) and Ryan O'Keeffe (drums), David Roads (guitar) and Justin Street (bass) spent the past few years making a name for themselves in their homeland by adopting the sound and spirit of fellow Aussie bands AC/DC and The Angels. They've played with The Rolling Stones, Motley Crue and The Living End. The party-loving quartet caught the attention of Roadrunner A&R VP Ron Burman (who signed Nickelback) at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas in March.
"They are a young, fists in the air, high-energy, in your face type of hard rock band," Burman says of his new signing.Airbourne's Runnin' Wild debut LP was released in Australia last month and is slated to come out in North America and Europe early next year. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Bob Marlette (Black Sabbath, Quiet Riot) and mixer Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Guns N' Roses). "Stand Up For Rock 'N' Roll," "Runnin' Wild" and "Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast" can be heard on the group's MySpace page.
Here are the songs on Runnin' Wild:
