Liars Take The Self-Titled Route With Fourth Album

Los Angeles art-punk band Liars will also use their name as the title of their Aug. 28 release through Mute. The follow-up to last year's Drum's Not Dead concept album will be available on white vinyl, CD and as a digital download. Australian-born frontman Angus Andrew and percussionist/guitarist Aaron Hemphill formed Liars in 2000 with bassist Pat Noecker and drummer Ron Albertson and released 2002's They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top. The rhythm section departed and were replaced by drummer Julian Gross for 2004's They Were Wrong, So We Drowned and subsequent recordings. Liars have four European festival performances lined up for the summer.
Here are the songs on Liars:
"Plaster Casts Of Everything"
"Houseclouds"
"Leather Prowler"
"Sailing To Byzantium"
"What Would They Know"
"Cycle Time"
"Freak Out"
"Pure Unevil"
"Clear Island"
"The Dumb In The Rain"
"Protection"
