Smashing Pumpkins And Linkin Park Contribute To Transformers Soundtrack

Some of the biggest names in rock have contributed to the soundtrack for the upcoming Transformers movie.
The Warner Bros. album comes out on July 3, the same day the '80s cartoon remake opens in theatres. Goo Goo Dolls' "Before It's Too Late (Sam And Mikaela's Theme)" is the first single.
Other highlights include Smashing Pumpkins' "Doomsday Clock" off the long-awaited Zeitgeist, and Linkin Park's "What I've Done." Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda produced and is featured on the Styles Of Beyond's "Second To None."
Many of the artists on the soundtrack will be playing on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour, including Julien-K, H.I.M., Styles Of Beyond and Taking Back Sunday. The only Canadian stop on the tour is on Aug. 21 at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre.
