Nickelback And Tara Reid Among This Year's MMVA Presenters

More big names will be strolling down the red carpet at the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 17.
Nickelback, Joss Stone, Sum 41, Hedley, George, Sam Roberts, Marianas Trench, Kardinal Offishall, Canada's Next Top Model host Jay Manuel, Joan Of Arcadia actress Amber Tamblyn, Lost actress Emilie De Ravin, Toronto Raptors star Chris Bosh and New York Rangers pest Sean Avery will hand out prizes during the nationally televised party. To top things off, people will want to tune in to see if Tara Reid has a drunken wardrobe malfunction.
"These high-wattage presenters, in tandem with the previously announced performers, set the stage for an unforgettable, unpredictable party," says Much programming director Sheila Sullivan. "It's going to be a wild night."
Fergie, Billy Talent, Maroon 5, Hilary Duff, Alexisonfire, The Used, Finger Eleven, Belly and Avril Lavigne will perform on the show, which will also be carried via broadband and mobile.
"I'm really excited to be attending the MMVAs this year," says Lavigne. "It's always exciting to go home to Canada and, if you're lucky, maybe I'll whip out my butt crack just once more."
Much's Red Carpet Arrivals Special will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the awards show kicks off 90 minutes later. To bone up on who's up for what, ChartAttack graciously provides you with this.
