State Of Shock's Life, Love & Lies To Be Exposed On Nickelback Tour

State Of Shock

Vancouver rockers State Of Shock will hit the road with Nickelback this summer in support of their new Life, Love & Lies album, which hits retail on June 19 via Cordova Bay Records.

The band's Guilty By Association debut came out through Sextant in 2004, the same year the group won Vancouver radio station CFOX's Seeds contest. The album earned State Of Shock a favourite new group nomination at the 2005 Canadian Independent Music Awards.

They enlisted producer Jeff Dawson (Daniel Powter, Tal Bachman) to record Life, Love & Lies at Vancouver's Hipposonic and Mushroom studios. The album was mixed by hard rock specialist Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith), and the pop elements in the group's more mature sound has helped lead single "Money Honey" get a lot of airplay at rock radio stations across Canada.
