Deftones, Goldfinger And De La Soul Headline Wakestock 2007

Wakestock, Canada's largest action sports and music festival, will celebrate its 10th anniversary from July 26 to 29.
More than two dozen bands will perform at Toronto Islands, including Deftones, Goldfinger, De La Soul, Story Of The Year, Lupe Fiasco and Del The Funky Homosapien. Other acts helping to round out the event's music portion are Evidence, IllScarlett, Moneen, Social Code, Protest The Hero, 10 Second Epic, The Junction, BrassMunk, Black Lungs, I Hate Sally, Joell Ortiz, Shad K, Fucked Up, The End, Tru-Paz, Machete Avenue, The Flatliners, Crush Luther and These Silhouettes.
Along with grooving to tunes, attendees can watch dudes risk their lives wakeboarding, skateboarding or motocrossing. There will also be a bikini contest, an action sports marketplace, beer garden and everything that the island offers, including the flume ride, giant novelty chairs and floating around inside large swans.Passes are being sold for either individual days or the entire festival.
