Billy Talent And Nickelback Lead With Five MMVA Nominations

After announcing the People's Choice nominees last week, MuchMusic has revealed the contenders for their remaining MuchMusic Video Awards, and Billy Talent and Nickelback lead the way with five nominations each.

Hip-hop artists K-OS and Belly have four nods each, while Alexisonfire, George, Hedley, Nelly Furtado, Sam Roberts and Three Days Grace follow with three.

The 18th annual awards party will take place in and around the Much environment on Toronto's Queen Street West on June 17 and will be broadcast live on the nation's music station.
