Evanescence Invite Two New Members Through The Open Door

Evanescence have recruited a new guitarist and drummer to replace two members who left with a bad taste in their mouths earlier this month.
Drummer Will Hunt and guitarist Troy McLawhorn from the band Dark New Day are the newest Evanescence members. They'll make their debut at the Rock On The Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday.
After another U.S. show the next day, the band will head to Europe for a month in support of their most recent album, The Open Door. They'll then return to co-headline the North American leg of the Family Values Tour, which includes a stop at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on July 31.
The two newbies join singer/pianist Amy Lee, guitarist Terry Balsamo and bassist Tim McCord in Evanescence.
"I am a big fan of Dark New Day and can't wait for the fans to see what the guys bring to our live show," says Lee.
Evanescence guitarist/songwriter Ben Moody left the band in 2003 and was replaced by Balsamo. Bassist Will Boyd was replaced by McCord last year.
