BNL's Steven Page Is All The Rage With New CBC Radio Show

You can now add Barenaked Ladies singer Steven Page to the list of Canadian musicians about to host their own series on CBC Radio.
The artist will host a weekly program called All The Rage that's also going to be made available in the U.S. through Sirius Satellite Radio. According to a recent entry posted by Page on the Ladies' blog page, it's "a documentary show about trends and fads over the years." It will air Tuesday evenings at 7:30 and repeat on Saturday mornings at 11 beginning on June 26.
"It's been lots of fun to work on, and very strange for me, who has never had a real job, to commute on the streetcar or on my bike, bring my lunch, and have an office," Page wrote in his May 14 post. "Now I know what it is the rest of you earthlings do!"
Danny Michel and Emm Gryner are hosting a CBC Radio series called Under The Covers that premieres on May 21. Other Canadian singers who've gone behind the mic for the national broadcaster are Sook Yin Lee, Moxy Fruvous' Jian Ghomeshi and The Smugglers' Grant Lawrence.
Page and BNL bandmate Kevin Hearn entered a studio in late April to record "Wonderin'" for the upcoming Neil Young tribute, Borrowed Tunes 2.
Barenaked Ladies are off the road after touring the U.S. earlier this year. They have a handful of American dates set for mid-June and are confirmed to play on the Ships & Dip III Caribbean cruise set for late January next year. The cruise will also feature Guster and other acts.
