The Rolling Stones Coming Out With The Biggest Bang

With their Forty Licks World Tour, The Rolling Stones offered up an arena show, a stadium show and a club show — each with their own rather unique set list. The collection was compiled nicely in 2003's Four Flicks DVD set. Now it appears that the band are going the DVD route again with The Biggest Bang, a four-disc set culled from their latest world tour.
According to authoritative fan site It's Only Rock And Roll, approximately seven hours of concert footage, interviews, a documentary on the tour and behind-the-scenes footage will be included on the DVD, which is set for release sometime in June. Guest performers include Bonnie Raitt, Dave Matthews and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.
The collection will reportedly include six songs that have never been on DVD and six tracks that have never been released at all. No track list or bonus features have been officially announced.
The Stones will also be featured in a concert documentary directed by Martin Scorsese that's set to premiere later this year. The film, with the working title Shine A Light, was shot last October during the band's two performances at New York City's Beacon Theatre. The shows featured guest performances by Jack White, Buddy Guy and Christina Aguilera.
The group, who released A Bigger Bang in 2005, will launch a 30-date European tour leg in Belgium on June 5 that's expected to conclude with a three-night stand at The O2 arena in London, England.
